UFC Pulls Mark Hunt From Sydney Headliner Following Comments About His Health

An irate Mark Hunt took to social media to vent about being pulled from a scheduled UFC Fight Night match against Marcin Tybura due to "medical concerns".

On Tuesday evening, the UFC announced that UFC Sydney had a new main event.

The Super Samoan continued on Instagram: "I don't slur my words and..." While it did not expand on the nature of those medical concerns, Hunt had recently contributed a story for Player's Voice in which he said that "Sometimes I don't sleep well".

"I'll forget something I did yesterday but I can remember the shit I did years and years ago".

Ozil agent speaks out over Arsenal contract
Manchester United are said to be Ozil's destination of choice, but Jose Mourinho is hardly lacking in attacking midfielders. It's a really good option because we get another national player back in our league.

Hunt vowed to continue fighting regardless, but it seems that UFC officials weren't comfortable with that and so they've taken him off the card and replaced him with former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum instead. My memory is not that good anymore.

"I spent hours the other day with the doctors I was cleared to fight", Hunt said on Instagram. However, the 43-year-old, who has spent 20 years as a professional prizefighter, opens the essay by conceding a variety of cognitive and neurological symptoms consistent with the early signs of CTE. "But I've fought a lot of drug cheats and copped a lot of punishment from guys who were cheating and that's not right".

'The truth is the legal case I have filed has caused me to be withdrawn.

"Athlete health and safety is of the utmost importance to the organisation and it would never knowingly schedule an athlete complaining of health issues for a fight".

Gareth Bale up for sale
He has picked up where he left off this time round, finding the net 15 times in just 13 appearances for club and country. Only people at Madrid will know about this but the demands at the Bernabeu are very, very high.

"The organization will require that Hunt undergo further testing and evaluations prior to competing in any future UFC bout", an unnamed UFC official told Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper.

'The interview has been taken out of context and want to reassure all my fans, I slur my words only when I have a drink I'm fit and healthy, and would have understood if the UFC requested a medical to ensure my safety, however this is total bullshit f*ck you Dana, you've always hated me you dog'.

Now, it's important to note here that Hunt has launched a civil suit against the UFC and Brock Lesnar, as a result of the latter's USADA flag, following their 2016 bout.

Werdum, meanwhile, just competed this past weekend at UFC 216, and quickly submitted Walt Harris.

New Kindle Oasis (2017) adds big screen and waterproofing, cuts price
Still, the new model is by far the sturdiest Kindle I've ever held, thanks to its metal case. Keep your eyes peeled for the full review, which I'll be posting in the coming weeks.
