Patently Apple posted a report back in December 2016 titled "Korean Report Wildly Speculates that LG is Working with Apple, Google & Microsoft to Deliver Foldable Devices by 2018".
First we heard of Samsung's plans to produce a smartphone with a bending, foldable screen, and now it's Apple's turn for a lap of the rumour mill. However, it's been suggested that Tim Cook and co do not want to develop too close a relationship with an arch rival.
Google to integrate Duo App to Android by default
How about other Android phones from major OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) like Samsung, LG, Sony, Xiaomi and others? Primarily, Google's video calling app Duo will be the main app that will make video call to anyone with the app installed.
Apple usually starts a new phone project a year before launch, sharing key features, including the panel, with suppliers. These included a tablet that folded into a smartphone and a clamshell-like handset. For this reason, Apple may have established a partnership with LG to store his work from his biggest competitor.
