That said, past OnLeaks renders have been extremely accurate. Now, renders of yet another Nokia smartphone have surfaced online. Pictures of the Nokia 2 have already leaked out last month, but no credible Nokia 9 imagery emerged until now.

Well-known leaker @OnLeaks has rendered HMD Global's upcoming flagship based on CAD files, which gives us a look at the phone and what to expect from it. At least the Galaxy S8 and G6, as the Nokia 9 is tipped to sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED screen with slim surrounding borders. It's a flagship smartphone and is called Nokia 9. The new renders don't actually show how thin the bezels are on the handset, since Compareraja and Hemmerstoffer don't actually have information on the display's outline.

It's got a curved display which has been largely exclusive to Samsung. While there isn't a concrete number in terms of megapixel count, it is speculated that it will arrive with either a 12MP or 13MP unit, and we can see that it will implement a dual camera sensor setup. Instead, the fingerprint scanner can be seen embedded on the rear of the phone. Besides, the back of the phone also seems to be curved at the edges, which should help users hold it more comfortably.

At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port along with speaker grille and a microphone.

It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. The other thing to take from these renders is the apparent removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack, something that Google has recently done with the Pixel 2 smartphones. There's no headphone jack, and disturbingly common trend lately. This is because the Finnish company could be testing more than one prototype of the Nokia 9.
