The Rose celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness month last week with its 4th annual Ensemble Theater fund raiser, bringing in more than $30,000 to fund 200 mammograms. Early detection saves lives. About 2,470 men are also expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year with 460 deaths.

The Marysville firefighters union, IAFF Local 3219, are using the proceeds from the shirts to make a donation toward breast cancer research.
