Hancock County's unemployment rate declined to 3.3 percent in September from 3.9 percent in August, the state reported.

Crook County: The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate continues to trend up.

Jefferson County: The unemployment rate rose slightly to 5.6 percent in September from 5.4 percent in August.

The unemployment rate statewide in September was 4.6 percent.
