Raiders rip into Twitter terror's claims about Derek Carr hit

Miko appeared on "The Breakfast Club" Tuesday morning where she claimed the Raiders offensive line was upset with Carr over his stance on the national anthem protests, so they allowed him to get hit on objective.

Grimes, the wife of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes, said on radio show "The Breakfast Club" on Tuesday that the Raider's offensive line had "allowed" quarterback Derek Carr to sustain a back injury several weeks ago because of his opposition to national anthem demonstrations. "And they had a fight in that Monday night game [in Washington]".

Asked about the tweet and its meaning Wednesday, Carr pointed out that the verse was actually the Verse of the Day on the YouVersion Bible app.

Below are some of Oakland's reactions to Grimes' hot take artistry.

Real Madrid 'Door Open' for Neymar, Says Sergio Ramos

"A lot of people don't know, but the reason Derek Carr got injured was because the Raiders offensive line allowed him to get injured". The Raiders planned to stay in the locker room for the anthem, as several other teams did in response to Trump's comments on National Football League anthem protests. "This couldn't be further from the truth, '" Russini tweeted, adding they traveled to the nation's capital and discussed how they would handle the anthem protests, deciding to stay in the locker room during the performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner".

"So they were in the locker room".

Carr suffered transverse process fractures in his back the following week at Denver on a freak play where he was awkwardly wrenched to the ground and kneed in the back by a Broncos defensive lineman.

As for the validity of Grimes' conspiracy theory, the Washington Post did a pretty thorough breakdown of Oakland's offensive line play from that Redskins game and concluded there's no real evidence of the Raiders trying to get Carr hurt.

David Carr's brother, Darren Carr, also called out Grimes publicly after her claims came to light.
