Bentley has revealed its new Continental GT3, which will compete in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and Intercontinental GT Challenge next year.
Development has been led by Bentley Motorsport's in-house team alongside designers and technicians from technical partner M-Sport. This is the second-generation of the Continental GT3, with the previous iteration of the rather large racecar having scored 120 podiums and 45 wins in 528 races entered.

The auto features a Chesnut interior scheme and standard navigation, Bose surround sound system, and panoramic moonroof. To that end, Avenir adds more choice and luxury for buyers, with upgrades inside and out.
"The new auto leaves no area or system untouched in the search for even better performance, and the early test results are promising". The mostly aluminum structure puts its race weight at less than 2,900 pounds.

The car's debut will be in the first round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at Monza, where it will aim to begin a defence of the 2017 crown won by the old vehicle. It is noted that the model created on the basis of the road version of the Bentley Continental GT the new generation, but has several unique features focused on track use.

The new Conti GT3 is based on the all-new Continental GT revealed earlier in 2017, but has undergone serious steroidal treatment to beef it up, ready for the 2018 GT3 season.
The Continental GT3 has already started a six-month test program and will go on sale in June 2018.
It's understood that the manufacturer has decided against fielding entries in the Sprint Cup. Downforce is up on before, while both brakes and suspension are described as "new and bespoke".
