Key Apple Supplier Has Been Working on AR Glasses Tech

If Apple is able to meet its goal, the company could announce the product in 2019 and ship it for release in 2020, Bloomberg reported.

Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, reports that the AR system would utilize its own display and be powered by a new chip and operating system - and unlike current models, it would not need an accompanying smartphone to function.
