"Unfortunately with how the other regions played out, it wasn't enough to advance as a team, but we're extremely excited for Jaci to qualify and make it three years in a row we've had a female competing at the NCAA meet".

Junior Nicole Goecke placed 102nd in her first NCAA West Regional race in 21:39.4. The women's side will find out Saturday whether it receives an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships. "(She'll) be ready to battle anyone next week, but hopefully she has Tigers running with her".
