Carrie Underwood has spoken out for the first time since being hospitalized after a scary fall at her Nashville, Tennessee, home on Friday. According to The Tennessean, the CMA Awards co-host took a hard fall on the steps outside of her home. Her husband Mike Fisher, who she Wednesday in 2010, traveled back to Nashville overnight to be with her.
Along with her broken wrist, the Before He Cheats songstress is also healing from minor cuts and abrasions.

News Channel 5 reports Underwood's injury has made her scheduled appearance at Sunday's Country Rising concert impossible. Her rep believes her recovery will take time and appreciates any of the prayers sent out by her friends, fans, and family.
The singer's rep added that Fisher, 37, "was able to make it back into town that night to be with her and she was released from the hospital".
