Respawn Entertainment was formed in 2010 by two of the creators of Call Of Duty, who left Activision under acrimonious circumstances and created the Titanfall series as a direct competitor to Call Of Duty.

Respawn Entertainment, the video game company behind the "Titanfall" franchise, has been acquired by Electronic Arts Inc.in a deal valued at up to $455 million. According to Respawn CEO Vince Zampella, the move to EA wasn't done out of necessity. EA will provide us with more resources, access to new technologies, and expertise that we can tap into to that will help us make better games, and Respawn will retain the same creative freedom and culture we've always had.

There is still a very real chance - if not likelihood - that Roy Moore will be elected the next senator from Alabama. She accused the media of "fabricating" the story and said she would only back away from Moore "when they have proof".

Zampella also said that he will continue to run things at Respawn and will be a part of the studio leadership team at EA. The news was met with some understandable concern, as many are still confused over the recent closure of Visceral Studios and recent cancellation of their linear story-based Star Wars game. "The acquisition is expected to be neutral to EA's net income in fiscal years 2018 and 2019". For the full press release, hit the source link below.
