The Packers were down to one healthy running back at the end of the game, and got some hard-fought yards from rookie Jamaal Williams. Thankfully, that presumption was premature, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The MRI will reveal the true diagnosis for Jones, who before Sunday's game had taken over the starting running back job from Montgomery, totaling 358 yards on 67 carries with three touchdowns. He remained the Packers' featured back even after Montgomery returned from injury, relegating the converted wide receiver to snaps on a situational basis.

Montgomery won't return to Sunday's contest at Chicago due to a rib injury. He could be in line for a heavy dose of carries moving forward depending on the severity of Jones and Montgomery's injuries. Nelson will be impossible to trust in Week 11 versus the Baltimore Ravens.
