Strangers Are Throwing Money at Woman Who Gave Trump the Finger

A GoFundMe account set up on behalf of Juli Briskman has raked in over $70,000 in donations since it was activated a week ago.

The GoFundMe page says "Juli Briskman is an inspiration to us all".

Social media users heaped praise on the image of Ms Briskman at the time, hailing her as a "Heroine!" and even going so far as saying she should run for president in the 2020 election. A photo that quickly went viral shows her raising the middle finger of her left hand in defiance.

Briskman was riding her bike past the presidential caravan October 28 in Sterling, Va. when she was photographed by a White House photographer giving the one-finger salute.

Her gesture was captured by AFP White House photographer Brendan Smialowski who was riding in Mr Trump's convoy.

She added: "Basically, you can not have "lewd" or "obscene" things on your social media". She was sacked for repeatedly and very publicly flipping off the wispy-haired concentration of pure dickheadship that is the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump (you might have heard of him). Her employer, a builder that works on government contracts, noticed the photo and let her go.

She said: "I'm angry about where our country is right now".
