Musharraf is now in exile in Dubai. "In Pakistan, we don't call him a terrorist", Musharraf had said.

Pervez Musharraf, the former army chief of Pakistan has said that he is the biggest supporter of Lashkar-e-Toiba and added that they like him too.

He also denied Saeed's involvement in the Mumbai 26/11 attacks and insinuated that if Kulbhushan Jadhav, whom Pakistan Army has held on charges of espionage, hasn't admitted to the charges, even the LeT has not.

When asked to comment on this issue, Pervez Musharraf said that he banned the terror group under different circumstances without elaborating further. He implied that he wouldn't have banned LeT if he had known more about Saeed. "This is the biggest force and they have been declared terrorists by India along with the US", Musharraf stressed while explaining his stance.
