Jimmy Kimmel has issued a response to Roy Moore's tweet, reading "Sounds great Roy - let me know when you get some Christian values and I'll be there!"

Moore's campaign was rocked earlier this month by allegations that he pursued relationships with teenage girls while in his 30s, including accusations of sexual assault. They're the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender [individuals] who want to change our culture.

It turns out, a minister at the Mobile county church who spoke on Moore's behalf has his own history of dealing with sexual misconduct allegations raised against those close to him.

"There is an established group in Washington that does not want to change", Moore said at a rally on Monday.

Moore suggests that their collective motive for such a stunt is to sabotage his campaign in an effort to keep his Christian views out of Washington, BuzzFeed reports. "It hurts them to think and see what I've been charged with", he said.

Moore also said he believes a "drug dealer" he held in contempt while he was a deputy district attorney in the 1980s is "at the heart of this conspiracy", since "drugs are at the base of it". "The entire time, all the girls are lying?" the man shouted while Moore tried to continue his speech.

He identified himself to CNN as Jake Byrd, the stage name of a comedian known for interrupting news events as part of the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
