Magnitude Earthquake strikes Uttararkhand, No casualties reported


As per media reports Vibrations were also felt in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla, Kullu and Mandi, and some parts of Punjab and Haryana.

IMD's preliminary natural disaster report said the epicentre in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand.

Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region at 8:49 pm this evening after a 5.5 magnitude quake struck Uttarakhand.

No casualty has been reported yet from any of the states. It falls in the Himalayan region. In the last 24 hours this is the second quake in Uttarakhand.
