Game of Thrones season 8 might arrive later than expected

Sansa Stark may want to watch her back, because she just dropped a big possible reveal about Game of Thrones' last season. HBO has yet to confirm a date for their tentpole series' return, so Turner's statement will surely please fans who have been desperate for information about their favorite show.

Speaking to Variety, Sophie stated how they've got "six or seven months left" of filming on the season, before outright saying the release date when asked about her upcoming slate. For comparison, the budget for this year's stellar Wolverine send-off Logan was $97 million, per Box Office Mojo, and season eight of Game of Thrones will cost at least $90 million.
