A woman who worked with Ford but wasn't a Morgan Stanley employee told HuffPo reporters that Ford harassed and intimidated her, and "forcibly grabbed her one evening in Manhattan", and then pestered her in a series of emails afterward.

The report includes details of an email the woman sent to the former Tennessee politician, asking him to cease contact because of the harassment. The incident took place several years ago when Ford and the woman were supposed to be meeting for professional reasons.

House weighs gun bill as ATF reviews 'bump stock' devices
But critics of the bill say it undermines each individual state's ability to set its own requirements for issuing those permits. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th Dist.), whose Morristown office was picketed this week by opponents of HR 28, supported the bill .

The email, which was reviewed by HuffPost, shows that the woman emailed Ford after he repeatedly asked her to drinks. One woman heard from Ford's accuser the night of the incident and described her as "distraught, shocked, and frightened", and said that she was concerned about any career ramifications should she report the incident. Ford apologized and agreed not to email the woman anymore.

With the firing, Mr. Ford became the latest prominent man to lose his job amid heightened scrutiny of workplace behavior. He joined Morgan Stanley as a managing director and senior client-relationship manager in 2011 after a stint as a vice chairman and senior policy adviser at Bank of America.

Brownback orders flags lowered to half-staff for Pearl Harbor Day
Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed today, Thursday, December 7, 2017, as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day in Minnesota. The first lady, Melania Trump, also made a small mistake in a tweet commemorating the anniversary.

Ford served in the House for 10 years until 2006 - taking over from his father, longtime lawmaker Harold Ford Sr. - when he mounted a failed bid for a Senate seat.

He had meanwhile been keeping his political irons hot as a frequent guest commentator on the NBC "Morning Joe" program and in other venues, like a continuing role as lecturer at the Gerald Ford School of Public Policy at the University of MI, the former congressman's alma mater.

Active shooter reported at Aztec High School
Aztec High School is located at 500 E Chaco Street, in Aztec, New Mexico. "Aztec High School is locked down and being evacuated". The shooter was later reported to be "down", said Shana Reeves, director of communications for the city of Farmington.

But just for shits and giggles, what is Ford Jr. accused of doing? Ford is battling Republican Bob Corker for the seat being vacated by Senate Majority Leader Bill First.
