Ryan Reynolds Will Play Detective Pikachu In New Movie


The film will find Smith teaming up with Detective Pikachu and a sassy journalist (Newton) in order to find his father, who has been kidnapped. Reynolds is used to being a hero.

THR reports the Deadpool actor joins Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and Kathryn Newton (Little Big Lies) on the flick.
