Entertainment Weekly released the cover of its December 15/22 "First Look Issue" Thursday, giving fans their first look at Turner in 20th Century Fox's upcoming mutant epic X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

Turner ignited the cover of Entertainment Weekly's First Look Issue as Jean Grey this week. In Dark Phoenix, set roughly 10 years after X-Men: Apocalypse, the X-Men are nationally celebrated heroes - but the fame gets to Professor X's head, leading to a cosmic adventure.

He said Davis does a good job as clerk, but said he was troubled by her decision not to issue the marriage licenses. Davis has said that she will run for reelection for the office she has held since 2014, the newspaper reported.

In all seriousness, the Dark Phoenix first look is pretty nondescript, with a nude Sophie Turner rocking fiery locks and showing cracks of flame in her skin. But his growing ego puts the team at risk. Her hair is literally on fire - the last time we saw Jean Grey in "X-Men: Apocalypse", she was given a new uniform to train in the Danger Room after incinerating En Sabah Nur, officially becoming a new "X-Men" recruit. "Pride is starting to get the better of him, and he is pushing the X-Men to more extreme missions", Kinberg says.

Featuring numerous same mutant characters from Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix looks to take the franchise to new and exciting places (including outer space!), while continuing the saga of the young Professor X, Magneto and Mystique that began in X-Men: First Class. Is this the team saying farewell to Jean after the Phoenix force consumes her? In addition to the beauty of the visual effects, James McAvoy has called Dark Phoenix, "the most emotional X-Men we've done and the most pathos-driven", which makes for an interesting balance and may ease the minds of fans who worry about tackling the Dark Phoenix on the big screen. My bet is on either Lawrence's Mystique or Nicholas Hoult's Beast, both of whom would have a major impact given that they've been with the franchise since X-Men: First Class, as opposed to killing off some newish character audiences aren't exactly attached to just yet.

Robot , Frasier ), and Ato Essandoh ( Django Unchained , Jason Bourne ). "It's very easy to turn up the volume on reality there". There will also be a cameo from the host of the Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People podcast, Chris Gethard.

Though, be prepared: "There's a lot of sacrifice and a lot of suffering".
