Less than a week after being fired from his role as director of Bohemian Rhapsody, Bryan Singer is being sued for allegedly raping a 17-year-old in 2003.

It goes on to claim that once Singer had "lured" Sanchez-Guzman into a room, Singer allegedly forced the teen to perform oral sex before later performing oral sex on Sanchez-Guzman.

Singer is likely best known as the director of multiple films in Fox's X-Men franchise, starting with the 2000 original and as recently as 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse. "Upon information and belief, Mr. Waters was a wealthy tech investor who frequently hosted parties for young gay males in the Seattle area". Egan was hit with massive backlash and the case fell apart; his lawyers called accusations against two of the other men "untrue and provably false".

The suit claims Singer offered to take Guzman, who was 17 at the time, on a tour of the yacht.

After the alleged assault, Sanchez-Guzman states in the lawsuit that Singer threatened to ruin his reputation if he came forward. Guzman says he again pleaded with Singer to stop, to no avail.

It then accuses Singer of "forcibly" raping him.

The lawsuit states that he told the victim that he was a producer who could help him get into acting if he remained quiet.

Bryan Singer, who was sacked this week from his job as director of the forthcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, has been sued for sexual assaulting a minor, TMZ reports. After he was sacked, Singer said he was unable to make it to the set because he was caring for an ailing parent.

The lawsuit seeks undisclosed damages for "emotional distress, mental anguish, physical and mental pain and suffering, a decrease in his ability to enjoy life, past and future medical expenses, attorneys' fees and costs, and other general and special damages".

In an interesting twist of events, the suit was filed by Jeff Herman, who representedfellow Singer accuser Michael Egan in 2014.
