Earlier, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken had objected to ND Gupta's nomination, alleging that he was holding an office of profit.
On Monday, the trio got certificates confirming their election by Returning Officer Nidhi Srivastava.
Gupta, along with Sanjay Singh and Sushil Gupta, two other Rajya Sabha candidates of AAP, had filed nomination papers for the Upper house on January 4.

In his response to the returning officer's notice on Maken's objections, Gupta said he was appointed as a trustee of the NPS on March 30 previous year but he resigned from the trust on December 29, way before the filing of his nomination. However here, Maken's objections are not only considered but were invited at the time of scrutiny.
His letter came on the day the scrutiny of nominations is taking place for the Rajya Sabha elections. "Finally, the party decided that people who are not so famous but have done credible work should be nominated", Sisodia said.
Bharadwaj also charged that it was either "due to lack of knowledge or under pressure" that the returning officer "invited Maken to lead evidence" before him. In case the nomination is cancelled, there will be a by-election in a months time.

Gupta, he said, "is now holding the office of the trustee of the National Pension System Trust" as per the latest information available on the official website of the NPS, was appointed a trustee on March 30, 2015 and "continues as a trustee".
"Instead of deciding the nomination, the Returning Officer has reserved the order making it further susceptible to external influence", he said.
AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadha rejected Maken's allegation accusing Congress of trying to gain "cheap publicity" through "frivolous" objections as the law exempts trustees in the office of the profit category bar. The last date of withdrawal of candidature is 8 January.
