Williams added that her modern day "GOAT" (greatest of all time) rival Roger Federer - a 19-time Grand Slam champion - was finding life as a tennis-playing parent much easier than her.

Williams welcomed her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., on September 1, 2017, with her husband Alexis Ohanian, whom she later Wednesday in November 2017.

"On top of everything she was going through, the feeling of not being able to help made it even harder", Ohanian told Vogue of his wife.

Williams revealed she had to have an emergency caesarian in an interview with the fashion magazine.

"She walked out of the hospital room so her mother wouldn't worry and told the nearest nurse, between gasps, that she needed a CT scan with contrast and IV heparin (a blood thinner) right away", Haskell writes.

Matt Patricia Is Favorite For Lions Job But Prefers Giants
Peter King of TheMMQB.com reports that the Lions like Patricia, but that Patricia "favors" the Giants job. He would become the first defensive-minded head coach the Giants have hired since Bill Parcells in 1983.

Williams revealed that, the day after giving birth, she had started to think she was suffering from a pulmonary embolism - a blood clot in the lung - something she has previously experienced.

Despite some of the medical hardships she recently faced, Williams' track record suggests she will surpass Court in the near future.

"I'll get angry about the crying, then sad about being angry, and then guilty, like, Why do I feel so sad when I have a handsome baby? I guess that's just who I am", Serena said.

"No one talks about the low moments--the pressure you feel, the incredible letdown every time you hear the baby cry", Williams told Vogue.

"After competing in Abu Dhabi I realized that although I am super close, I'm not where I personally want to be", she said in a statement on Snapchat.

Barcelona record signing Coutinho out for three weeks due to injury
But Liverpool now have the chance to press the reset button and close the exit door by quickly reinvesting the Coutinho money. Barcelona said that fee would have been an "irresponsible" financial risk for the club.

"Now that I'm 36 and I look at my baby, I remember that this was also one of my goals when I was little, before tennis took over, when I was still kind of a normal girl who played with dolls", she told the magazine.

"Maybe this goes without saying, but it needs to be said in a powerful way: I absolutely want more Grand Slams", Williams said.

She will be defending her Australian Open title in March at Indian Wells, and will also debut a new clothing line in March on her website. 'I would hate for her to have to deal with comparisons or expectations.

Williams said she knows she is on the back side of her career, but warns opponents that that will not be an advantage for them. Opening up for the 1st time about the dramatic birth, she shares her harrowing story.

Serena had been planning to make her big return this month at the Australian Open, but announced just last week that the comeback would have to wait. "I was like, listen to Dr. Williams!".
