Former boxing heavyweight champ and "Hangover" star Mike Tyson has broken ground on a 40-acre cannabis operation 60 miles south of Death Valley, SFGate reported. The website pointed out that the ranch is located near Edwards Air Force Base.

Terming the ranch as the "Tyson Cultivation School", the boxing legend is set to create a lot of job opportunities by providing ideal marijuana growing lessons to farmers and also set aside a huge portion of space for "master growers" to have maximum control of the environment.

The business venture will seek to capitalize on the legalization of recreational pot in the Golden State, which went into effect on New Year's Day. Tyson was pictured at the plot alongside the city's mayor Jennifer Wood as well as his business partners Robert Hickman and Jay Strommen.
