Turkey summons top USA envoy over Syrian Kurds

The president noted that Turkey has the right and the necessary forces to expand military operations in Syria against YPG and PYD terrorist groups. Assad has defeated rebels in many parts of western Syria with critical help from Russian Federation and Iran.

Citing local sources, Turkey's Hurriyet Daily News and official Anadolu Agency reported Wednesday that Ankara summoned Washington's charge d'affairs Philip Kosnett over the U.S.'s continued support for the People's Protection Units (YPG), a Kurdish militia that has dominated the Pentagon's efforts to battle the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) in Syria. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu told journalists, "Russia and Iran must fulfill their obligations and stop the pro-Assad offensive in Idlib province".

Ankara has therefore called on Russian Federation and Iran, and rightly so, to cease and desist from their active and open aggression and military involvement in the fighting in the Idlib province and summoned their ambassadors in Ankara for this goal.

Barcelona reject idea of release clause in Messi contract
Messi is likely to see out his remaining contract with the club and keep destructing defences like he has been doing ever since donning the Barcelona jersey.

The People's Protection Units (YPG), the armed wing of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party, or PYD, is seen by the USA as the most effective ground partner for the US-led coalition fighting ISIL in Syria.

Turkey has been fiercely opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during his country's six-year-old civil war but has recently been working with his allies Russian Federation and Iran for a political resolution to the conflict.

Ankara believes YPG fighters are linked with Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) separatists inside Turkey, responsible for waging armed campaign since 1984 causing death to more than 40,000 people.

Dom Capers out as Packers defensive coordinator
During all five of his seasons as the offensive coordinator , the Packers would finish top 10 in points and yards. Green Bay is interviewing several in-house candidates such as Russ Ball, Eliot Wolf, and Brian Gutekunst.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has also in the past called the USA arming of the YPG "a mistake".

The three countries had agreed a year ago to establish a "de-escalation zone" in the opposition-held Idlib province and surrounding region, which borders Turkey. In the attack, the rebels apparently struck an officially undisclosed number of aircraft sitting on the tarmac, killing two helicopter pilots and wounding several more service personnel.

The reports say that Syrian government forces, supported by Russian Federation were trying to regain control of areas controlled by Daesh and other rebel groups. The moderate Syrian opposition in Idlib province seems to have been abandoned by Turkey and the United States and their Arab sponsors to the mercy of Russian-supported pro-al-Assad forces.
