Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dark Souls Remastered is being released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25. But this new Trilogy box set really is something else. These people have been calling out for a remaster of the game, especially considering that the original version had a number of glaring technical faults. Switch owners meanwhile will be able to squeeze out 30 FPS at 1080p when the system is docked.

Interestingly enough, the ports for the Xbox One, PC and PS4 versions of the game will be handled by a separate company over the Switch version according to some of the rumors.

Hopefully, the PC version won't be so rough around the edges as the original release was, which had to be fixed up for the most part by modders. Besides the games, the box set includes impressive bookends that look like a knight and a bonfire, art prints, dictionaries with descriptions for every item in the series, and six discs worth of Dark Souls music.
