Although it is not a new entry into the series, the remaster will bring a lot of updates and quality of life changes for the current generation of consoles.

We will be able to experience Dark Souls in upscaled 4K resolution with 60FPS when playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro system, Xbox One X, and PC.

Nintendo, of course, will focus on the Switch versions of their various announcements, but as Kotaku report, a different studio is apparently focusing on PS4, Xbox One and, yes, PC versions of the remaster. Not only is the Dark Souls trilogy box set exclusive to PS4, though, it's also exclusive to Japan.
