Leonardo DiCaprio's next big role will reportedly be in a Quentin Tarantino film taking place around Charles Manson's cult and the murders they committed in Los Angeles in the late 1960s.

Plot details for the unnamed Manson film are still thin on the ground at this stage, but it's thought to be a 1969-set ensemble flick that in some way details the Manson family murders - which were orchestrated by Charles Manson, one of the most widely-known serial killers of all time.

Quentin Tarantino is diving into his rich stable of actors for his next movie.

Deadline first reported the news.

The movie will be Leonardo's first movie since his role in The Revenant which won him his first Academy Award. Rumor has it that Margot Robbie from Scorsese's Wolf On Wall Street will take the role as Tate. Variety also reports that Tarantino wants Al Pacino for a role as well. Tarantino is still looking for the second male lead for the film, which means both Cruise and Pitt might still be an option, if a deal can be worked out.
