Trump expresses openness to talk to North Korea

Trump spoke Wednesday with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, and the Blue House readout of the call said the USA president promised he wouldn't attack North Korea while the two Asian nations hold talks.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was "shrewd and mature" and had won the latest standoff with the West over his nuclear and missile programmes.
