Notable blood-thirster Bryan Fuller is working on the pilot for Paramount's new series based on Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles books, and there are hopes he'll stay on the show for good.
Some good news for Bryan Fuller fans, Anne Rice fans, and the healthy crossover between those fandoms that is undoubtedly about to get a bit bigger: Fuller has come onboard the creative team behind The Vampire Chronicles, a TV series adaptation of Rice's most popular and celebrated works. The adaptation resulted in critical and financial success, with co-star Kirsten Dunst earning herself a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Golden Globe Awards at only 12 years old. His wild gothic nightmare series Hannibal drew influence from Rice's books, particularly the turbulent relationship between vampires Louis and Lestat, as it did Thomas Harris' Hannibal Lecter series. Fuller is also working on a reboot of Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories, but after leaving American Gods previous year, he could take on the Vampire Chronicles full time.

Baird and their recent target price per share indicates a potential downside of -8.01 % from the company's previous close. The business earned $2.47 billion during the quarter, compared to analysts' expectations of $3.08 million.
Fuller took interest in "The Vampire Chronicles" as a teenager in the 1980s, who then told the author that he will be developing the novel into a movie one day. "The series is full of compelling characters led by Lestat, arguably one of the greatest original characters, literary or otherwise".
Given Fuller's mastery of blending romance with the macabre, he makes the flawless choice to help develop this series. Bryan and I will be together tonight, along with our friend and fellow writer, Eric Shaw Quinn, at the Hollywood premiere of THE ALIENIST, another eagerly anticipated adaptation of a popular novel, and a show that we're sure will demonstrate to all why Paramount and Anonymous are the flawless home for Lestat and all of his fledglings, fellow vampires and rivals.
