DARK SOULS REMASTERED is Coming to Nintendo Switch


A Dark Souls Remastered game has been announced at this morning's Nintendo Direct Mini, and will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, the Xbox One, the Playstation 4, and the PC. Lordran and its cadre of nightmarish monsters will no doubt look even more haunting and treacherous with all of that lovely extra detail.

A shopper in Japan has posted a photograph that seems to confirm that a remaster of the first Dark Souls game is on the way. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The Switch had a phenomenal first year, but Nintendo isn't planning to coast on old glories through 2018. It'll feature "upscaled 4K resolution with 60FPS when playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro system, Xbox One X, and PC".

Something to keep in mind is that FROMSOFT also joined in with Nintendo to develop games for the Switch, it's possible that the remaster may be making its way to Switch, which has been rumored quite the many times.

Dark Souls players will likely appreciate the ability to play through the entire series on one console, especially with all of the DLC. Despite the fact that is being ported to Nintendo, Dark Souls Remastered will be available for all other platforms.
