Dead university student found decomposing in U.S. mall

Her body was found in an empty food court by a maintenance worker at Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth on December 21, but she was only formally identified on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

A woman who was found dead at Gwinnett Place Mall days before Christmas has been identified as a 19-year-old from Lawrenceville, police say.

Man had disappeared on October 8th, but had returned home shortly after police were notified. Two days after her return, the police officials removed her name from the missing persons' list.

No missing persons report was filed over her second disappearance.

Man was seen on November 20, when she picked up her final paycheck from a job at another shopping center in the area, the Perimeter Mall.

"The case has not been ruled as a homicide by the Medical Examiner's Office, though the circumstances surrounding her death are still being investigated", a police statement revealed.

Man was found by a maintenance worker checking a vacant area of the mall.

"What's suspicious about this case is the cause of death has not been determined".

As of now, authorities were looking into Man's activities and acquaintances to find out what led to her untimely death.
