"I believe strongly in the value of remorse and forgiveness, but I take the allegations very seriously, and we at Conde Nast have chose to put our working relationship with both photographers on hold for the foreseeable future", she said in a statement.

The Times says 13 assistants and models accuse Testino.

The allegations against Testino date back to the mid-1990s and include groping and masturbation, the paper reported.

Photographic assistant Hugo Tillman said Testino once grabbed him on the street and tried to kiss him and, a few weeks later, pinned him down on a bed until he was removed by another person. Similarly, Testino's law firm refuted the allegations, adding that they contacted previous employees who "could not confirm any of the claims".

Another assistant, Roman Barrett, said sexual harassment was a "constant reality".

In 2014, the Peruvian photographer was awarded an honorary OBE for his services to photography and charity.

Testino is a Vogue favorite and has photographed prominent members of the British royal family, including Princess Diana.

He has worked with brands such as Burberry and Michael Kors and his photographs of Serena Williams and her newborn baby feature on the cover of the February edition of US Vogue.

A New York Times investigation alleges that Weber - known for his celebrity portraits and Calvin Klein ads - subjected 15 current and former male models to unnecessary nudity and coercive sexual behaviour, often during photo shoots.

Models were asked to "breathe" and to touch themselves and Weber, moving their hands wherever they felt "energy", the newspaper said.
