The "There It Go" rapper, 36, was being screened inside Terminal C around 6 p.m. when TSA agents found the firearm in his luggage, NBC 4 NY reported, citing sources. NY reported, that Santana was making his way through security at Newark International Airport when a gun was found inside of his bag. Witnesses believe Santana hopped inside a taxi and fled the scene.

Representatives for Santana, who's real name is LaRon James, haven't returned a message seeking comment. The 36-year-old Dipset member fled after being screened at Terminal C around 6:00 pm.
