Other teams could not match incentives 49ers offered Richard Sherman

After a seemingly amicable parting between the four-time All Pro and the Seahawks organisation, Sherman revealed to Peter King of the MMQB that his reasons for linking up with the 9ers were "vengeful".

Sherman signed a highly incentivized three-year contract that could be worth more than $39 million if he appears in every game, plays 90 percent of the defensive snaps and is named to the Pro-Bowl and All-Pro teams. The Seahawks released him and declined the opportunity to match the 49ers' offer. Before the craziness of free agency gets under way and reshapes the landscape of the National Football League, I wanted to give the whole seven-round mock draft one more go-around.

Richard Sherman did not choose San Francisco for the weather or the money or the restaurant scene.

In hopes of giving you a more defined idea of what the franchise could do this offseason, I've taken an extended look at how the Seahawks could spend the eight draft picks they now own. But Sherman referenced fans burning his jersey and the team's decision to dump him.

WWE Released A Statement About Jeff Hardy's Arrest As More Details Emerged
Hardy, who has been in and out of WWE since the 1990s, underwent surgery to fix a torn rotator cuff in October. Hardy was arrested in Concord, North Carolina on Saturday night in after a single vehicle accident.

"I love the fan base to death, and I loved playing there", Sherman said according to King.

The 49ers were interested in making certain Sherman is healing from his injuries, ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported, and apparently are convinced that he will recover.

Sherman said: "I'm vengeful in that way". The 2017 season was a hard one for the 31-year-old Cromartie, who didn't have an interception and was suspended for one game by then-coach Ben McAdoo for leaving practice without permission. "I didn't abandon anybody". His deflection on a potential winning touchdown pass in the 2013 NFC championship game against the 49ers led to an interception that sent the Seahawks to the Super Bowl, which they won.

Sherman is mad, but he's also smart.

North Korean "caution" seen in announcing stance on upcoming summits: Seoul
Chung is visiting China to discuss his recent visit to North Korea , at which the two Koreas agreed to hold a summit next month. China was willing to promote the healthy and stable development of North Korea-South Korea relations, Yang said.

"I would assume if I leave, some of the things in this deal would get walked back", Sherman said to Lynch in King's piece.

While it's unknown exactly the paycut Seattle wanted Sherman to take, it's surely less than $10 million for the 2018 season. It becomes fully guaranteed on April 1, 2019.

"Once I make a Pro Bowl, $8 million the next year is guaranteed for me". Sherman, who is from Los Angeles and attended Stanford, represented himself in negotiations with the 49ers.

All adding just that much more to a storyline that is nowhere near complete.
