Woman's act of kindness for Waffle House customer goes viral


It eventually caught the eye of Texas Southern University, and they made a decision to present Evoni with a $16,000 scholarship.

Waitress Evoni Williams worked the hectic morning shift at the Waffle House in La Marque, Texas, saving up for college.

She said she was working at Waffle House only to save up for college. A picture of Evoni, an employee of the Waffle House, cutting up food for a customer who was unable to do so himself, was clicked by another customer and shared on Facebook. She did.
