It's absolutely brutal from Mourinho but it's actually impossible to argue with his assertion that the former Inter Milan manager is the worst manager that the Premier League has seen, statistically at least.

Does he play every match from the start? No. "No, of course not but he's a player we trust and I told him that before the Liverpool match", added Mourinho. "I'm really happy with Marcus".

Southgate has discussed Rashford's progress with the man at the helm at Old Trafford, and Mourinho insists the England boss is satisfied with the current state of affairs. Only Manchester City, from the top six, we haven't beaten, at this moment.
"I try to give the best to the kid, I have to be honest and give the credit to the people of the academy that was responsible for his formation".
The Portuguese also suggested that, while United are not among the favourites to win this year's tournament, reaching the quarter-finals presents all sorts of possibilities.
