Friedman Scolds Palestinian Authority Leadership on Silence Over Terrorist Murders of Israelis

Some Palestinians called on Hamas to retaliate by outlawing Abbas's Fatah faction in the Gaza Strip. "Hamas is responsible for all hostile acts from Gaza and we will continue to defend our people and border".

The incident cast more negative shadows on the already faltering reconciliation process between Fatah and Hamas, which has been under Egyptian auspices for several years.
