God of War Won't Let Players Change Its Hardest Difficulty Setting

From easiest to hardest, these options are "Give Me A Story", "Give Me A Balanced Experience", "Give Me A Challenge", and "Give Me God of War".

The new entry in the long-running God of War saga is touching down on PlayStation 4 soon, and there's a lot that's changed since we last met up with Kratos.

God of War will also give you full control over your HUD, and include an "Immersion Mode", that strips nearly all distracting info off the screen.

Sony finished developing the new God of War in March, so the company was able to get the title in the hands of reviewers well ahead of launch. You won't be taking a gondola to the top of the highest peaks in all the Norse Realms, but you will have a far greater margin for error in enemy encounters. And then there's "Give Me God of War" which is the toughest mode, but it also supposedly varies enemy attack patterns and placements to make everything extra taxing.

In an announcement today, Sony gave more insight into the God Of War difficulty options.

Chemical weapons organisation to inspect attack site in Syria
Moscow , which has troops on the ground in Syria , has already warned that U.S. military action would be "very, very dangerous". It came just hours ahead of an urgent United Nations meeting over the reported use of toxic gas on the town of Douma.

The new details offer anyone who's interested in playing the game an idea of what difficulty settings will be included and what options there will be when it comes to HUD. The recommended level is the self-explanatory "Give Me A Balanced Experience", which could perhaps be called the normal difficulty. The name says it all. You can access this setting at any point in the game.

As Sony states, this mode is for "those who wrestle polar bears in their undies". "Give Me God of War" is a mode created to give players the ultimate challenge, one that supplies no safety net.
