Facebook has starting rolling out augmented reality (AR) doodles and Instagram's Boomerang feature to stories.

Facebook might be having a tough time dealing with the aftermath of the Cambridge Analytica crisis, but that hasn't stopped the social media giant from working on improving its products.

The new feature is named as 3D drawing and it allows a user to create various shapes and also write text on the videos shot by the Facebook camera before or at the time of video recording. A new feature should be ready in a few weeks. Now there is also a new AR feature to help in the same. Further, the 3D drawing feature comes with only one pastel effect for making the drawings on the videos; however as per some reports, more brush options are to be added in the future. It launched its suite of AR effects and developer kits for various applications at the F8 conference in April past year.
