Saturday's Detroit Tigers game against the New York Yankees has been postponed due to rain, the team announced. The games will be made up in a split doubleheader on June 4.

The mixture of cold, ice, hail and snow ripping through MI postponed baseball games for the Lansing Lugnuts and the Detroit Tigers on Saturday. It's also the date of the MLB Draft for which the Tigers have the first overall selection. The Tigers were scheduled to be off, while the Yankees would have been traveling between games in Baltimore and Toronto.
