Armed robbery reported Monday morning in Moline

On Sunday, the suspect successfully robbed two stores, and he attempted to rob at another.

The man also tried to rob a CVS at 3200 Lafayette Boulevard, but was unsuccessful, police say.

The man entered Key Bank, 2161 S. Byrne Road, at about 12:20 p.m. Monday, and demanded money from the tellers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a release.

The third robbery happened at the Walgreens on W. 21st Street around 10:15 a.m.

Moline Police are investigating a reported armed robbery Monday morning.

In a struggle, the victim said he heard a "pop" noise and the two suspects fled the scene.

The suspect is now being interviewed by police.

They have been identified as 25-year-old Clayton Sides of Dimmitt and 25-year-old Thomas Jacob Hefner of Bovina. The pilot and passenger of a small plane that crashed in a rural OH county were identified Monday evening.

Officers were able to determine Travis and Busch were the suspects in the attempted armed robbery.

Police eventually found the suspect's auto in the 800 block of E. Little Creek Road. They have not located the suspect.

Investigators will release the name when the suspect is formally charged and transferred to the county jail.
