Armed robbery reported Monday morning in Moline


On Sunday, the suspect successfully robbed two stores, and he attempted to rob at another.

The man also tried to rob a CVS at 3200 Lafayette Boulevard, but was unsuccessful, police say.

The man entered Key Bank, 2161 S. Byrne Road, at about 12:20 p.m. Monday, and demanded money from the tellers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a release.

The third robbery happened at the Walgreens on W. 21st Street around 10:15 a.m.
