Missiles shot down by Syrian air defences: state media

Syrian state-run television reported Tuesday that Syrian air defenses have faced a new "aggression" in excess of Homs, however, didn't say who carried from that the air-strikes.

State television did not mention three missiles that were fired at Dumair military airport, north-east of Damascus, that pro-Iranian Hezbollah's media service reported were also intercepted by Syrian air defences.

The source of the missiles is still unknown.

Iranian news agencies also reported missiles being fired toward Shayrat.
