The company informed via its blog post, "there's no change in functionality, but some icons and buttons have moved, and there's a range of visual tweaks to align with Google's latest material design principles". The "New" button has received a revamp too, which is now pretty much same the one we saw on the redesigned Gmail interface. Meanwhile, the site's background is now stark white instead of the current light gray. A clean look for Google Drive on the web, with features like offline support and many more, are introduced in the lastest interface. Google did not share details about when the new design will roll out to all Google Drive users. Buttons and highlights have been tweaked to be more rounded and elegant.
