Iceland's WOW air launches new flights to India


Delhi has been chosen as the first Asian market and location for the airline. Travellers will be able to cop cheap flights from New Delhi to NY via Reykjavik, where the airline is based.

Established in November 2011 by Icelandic entrepreneur Skúli Mogensen, the purple airline flies with Airbus A320, Airbus A321 and Airbus A330 models.

Prices from London start from £149 one-way while flights from the U.S. will start from $199 one-way. The cheapest available round-trip flights start at $398, but you will only be able to bring a personal item (seven inches by 13 inches by 10 inches)-for carry-on or checked bags, you'll have to pay ($50 or $70, each way).

For price conscious Indian travellers, worldwide air travel is becoming more affordable.
