Here's a brief description for it: "Create a custom controller experience that is uniquely yours".

Original story: An accessible Xbox One controller has allegedly been leaked. Other organisations included The AbleGamers Foundation, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, SpecialEffect and Warfighter Engaged. We worked closely with them and directly with gamers who have limited mobility to assist in our development.

The news comes as the charity Muscular Dystrophy UK has released a report saying more needs to be done to help disabled gamers.

He was reportedly on his way back from dropping his children off at school when the accident happened. Samuel leaves behind wife Emma and their three children, aged 10, 8 and 5.

Leaked earlier in the week, today Microsoft formally announced the Xbox Adaptive Controller, a controller created to empower gamers with specific mobility and control needs to play as well as anyone else.

In addition to working with common adaptive switches that gamers with limited mobility may already have, there are two large buttons built in.

The Xbox Adaptive Controller - or XAC - will cost $99. Examples include PDP's One-Handed Joystick for the Xbox Adaptive Controller, Logitech's Extreme 3D Pro Joystick, and Quadstick's Game Controller. "On our journey of inclusive design, we have taken a wider view of our fans and a more inclusive approach to designing for them". Microsoft also describes a setup using RAM Mounts with connected buttons lets you use your leg to control gameplay, as they form a sort of brace around your leg.

Spencer says the Adaptive Controller "has been years in the making" and is a "passion project".

The XAC will surely be compatible with PC, given Microsoft's efforts to unite Windows 10 and Xbox, and this makes today's announcement even better news. More details will be revealed at E3 2018 in June.

The research work has been carried out for several years, which is an important achievement in the fight against the technology accessibility gap for people with disabilities.
