'Sons of Anarchy' star Alan O'Neill dead at 47

Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ wrote that O'Neill's body was found by his girlfriend in the hallway of her apartment.

TMZ have reported that the actor Alan O'Neill, who played Hugh in Sons of Anarchy, has passed away at the age of 47. "We're told no foul play is suspected ... and an autopsy will be completed soon to determine the cause of death".

Alan's agent Annette Walsh led tributes to the "brilliant, amusing and kind" late star.

Alan made his acting debut in the 1997 TV movie Ballyseedy and went on to have roles in 1989 drama Fair City and the 2001 series Rebel Heart, where he played Keith McGrath.
