Woman missing after alligator 'dragged' her into Florida pond

The caller reported seeing the alligator drag the woman into the lake at about 9:45 a.m. Friday.

Davie Police said the witness told them the woman was walking her dogs before she was grabbed by the alligator, sometime late Friday morning.

'Her dogs won't leave the pond. Its presence is hindering search efforts, Engle said.
