North Korea's Kim lands in Singapore ahead of summit with Trump

Kim invited Trump to the North Korean capital on June 1 in a hand-written letter, according to South Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo, which cited an anonymous source in Singapore.

With gaps remaining over what denuclearisation would entail, officials from both sides were trying to push the agenda forward ahead of Tuesday's summit.

When Trump and Kim meet at 9am local time on Tuesday at Sentosa, a resort island off Singapore's port, they will be making history. But after some diplomatic scrambling, the two leaders will now sit down together.

The only logical explanation for Rodman's visit to Singapore would have to do with the fact that he has been closely associated with Jong Un and Trump in the past.

"It will certainly be an exciting day and I know that Kim Jong-un will work very hard to do something that has rarely been done before".
