E3 2018: First Look at Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gameplay

From Assassin's Creed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Ubisoft has proved deft at provided games in many different genres to gamers all over the world and doing it well.

In terms of surprises, Ubisoft is being tipped to reveal Watch Dogs 3, Splinter Cell and potentially even a new Rabbids game. In the past, we've seen attempts at VR, toys to life games, and some thinly veiled stabs at potential buy outs from megacorporations. It got a full announcement trailer (embedded above) and a lengthy gameplay demo (embedded below).

Recently announced by the publisher is a follow-up to 2017's Assassin's Creed Origins - called Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 5. The Division 2 releases on March 15th for the same consoles as its predecessor, that means no Nintendo Switch version for this one.

Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer for its latest Assassin's Creed game, Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

The developers reiterated the ideology of the Templar Order versus the Assassins, such as the ideology of order vs free will and how both still remain to be grey, complex and very important part of the time that the developers are exploring in this Assassin's Creed.

Doom Eternal will drag us back to Hell
The teaser ended with a shot of Doom Slayer, AKA "Doomguy" putting on his iconic green helmet before jumping into the action. Announcing DOOM Eternal , the direct sequel to the award-winning and best-selling DOOM (2016).

Reportedly, Odyssey lets you control either a male or female protagonist, who are said to have connections to the First Civilisation. The game features everything from the "snowy mountain peaks" to the "depths of the Aegean Sea", according to Ubisoft, which says it set the game during Greece's Golden Age.

Last but absolutely not least, the stage moved to Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

"In numerous screenshots, you see missions instructing you to fight, kill or weaken the Athenians".
